Atlantic Shores Christian Schools

Stephen James Lewis — Stephen has been accepted at Old Dominion University and plans to major in Engineering. In high school he participated in Baseball. He is a member of the National Honor Society, the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, a 2012 Commended National Merit Scholar, and is a local leader of a Youth Group worship team. Stephen currently has a 4.19 GPA.
Krystal Michele Pearson — Krystal has been accepted at both Old Dominion University and the University of South Florida and plans a career in the medical field. In high school she participated in volleyball, softball, and basketball. She is a member of the National Honor Society. She was named to the Metro Conference All-Academic Team in 2013, was Captain of her volleyball team, and volunteers at her church. Krystal currently has a 3.87 GPA.

Deep Creek High School

Tristan Alexander Ledbetter — Tristan has been accepted at Virginia Commonwealth University. In high school he participated in football and track and field. He is a member of the National Honor Society, SCA, Drama Club, Academic Challenge team, co-editor of the Yearbook, and he serves as a Youth Leader at his church. Tristan currently has a 4.10 GPA.

Grassfield High School

Dana Marie Brink — Dana has been accepted at Virginia Tech and plans to major in Architecture. In high school she participated in volleyball, basketball, and softball. She is a member of the National Honor Society, the Spanish Honor Society, the Virginian Pilot Scholastic Team, and the school orchestra. In 2012 she was honored as the Superintendent’s Scholar Athlete of the Year. She is an AP College Scholar and does volunteer work in her church. Dana currently has a 4.59 GPA.
Alyssa Megan Brink — Alyssa has been accepted at Virginia Teach and plans to major in Architecture. In high school she participated in volleyball, basketball, and softball.- “She is a member of the National Honor Society, the Spanish Honor Society, the Virginian Pilot Scholastic Team, and the school orchestra. She was honored as the Superintendent’s Scholar Athlete of the Year. She is an AP College Scholar and does volunteer work in her church. Alyssa currently has a 4.58 GPA.

Great Bridge High School

Samantha Marie Travis — Samantha has been accepted at James Madison University and plans to major in Anthropology. In high school she participated in Tennis. She is a member of the National Honor Society, the Key Club, and the SCA. She is an AP Scholar, a recipient of the VHSL and Presidential Award for Academic Excellence, Principals Award for Academic Achievement, and the President’s Volunteer Service Award. Samantha currently has a 4.61 GPA.
Rachael Ann Lacy — Rachael plans on attending either Virginia Tech or James Madison and majoring in pre-dentistry. In high school she participated in cheering and gymnastics. She is a member of the National Honor Society, the school orchestra, 100 Spanish Club, Tri-Hi-Y, and the Young Life Christian Youth organization. She served as Captain of her cheering squad and volunteers at her church. Rachel currently has a 4.35 GPA.

Greenbrier Christian Academy

Elizabeth Anne Bailey – Elizabeth has been accepted at Virginia Wesleyan College and plans to major in Education. In high school she participated in volleyball, softball, indoor track, and cross country. She has been a four year member of the Principals Honor Roll, named All-Conference and All-State in softball, served on the Homecoming Court, and does volunteer work in her church. Elizabeth currently has a 3.72 GPA.

Hickory High School

Jeanette Lillian Rybarczyk — Jenny plans to attend Christopher Newport University and major in Engineering. In high school she participated in cheering, gymnastics, and volleyball. She is a Chesapeake Scholar Athlete, member of the SCA, Captain of the Girls Volleyball team, volunteer for Young Life Christian Organization, and a volunteer at her church. Jenny currently has a 3.27 GPA.

Indian River High School

Leslie Arron Tucker — Leslie has been accepted at the College of William and Mary and plans to major in Elementary Education. In high school she participated in volleyball, swimming, and softball. She is a member of the National Honor Society, Future Educators Association, Invisible Children, Tri Hi Y, and the National English Honor Society. Leslie volunteers at her church, and assists with feeding the homeless. Leslie currently has a 4.16 GPA.

Oscar Smith High School

Keighley Reilly Janotka — Keighley is undecided on her college preference. In high school she participated in cheering. She is a member of the National Honor Society, Future Business Leaders of America, and the Buddy Mentor program for the SCA. She serves as a volunteer for Suicide Prevention and is a student volunteer in the Guidance department at her school. Keighley currently has a 4.04 GPA.

Western Branch High School

Morgan Leigh Phelps — Morgan plans to attend the University of Virginia. In high school she participated in cheering. She is a member of the National Honor Society, a school Marshall, the school Quiz Bowl team, and Operation Smile Club. Morgan serves as a volunteer for Relay for Life and attended Virginia Girls State. Morgan currently has a 4.36 GPA.
Alexa Elena Matute — Alexa plans to attend Norfolk State University. In high school she participated in cross country and both indoor and outdoor track. During her senior year, she served as Captain of all three teams. Her track teams won 2 indoor state titles, 3 outdoors state titles, 7 Southeastern District titles, and 6 Eastern Region Titles. Alexa also does volunteer work in her community. She currently has a 2.84 GPA.
