Atlantic Shores Christian Schools
Jordan Javon Cannady — Jordan’s college preference is undecided but plants to major in education. He was captain of both the Varsity Football and Basketball teams. His academic awards include the Outstanding Student Award and a member of the National Honor Society. Jordan currently has a 4.16 GPA.
Deep Creek High School
Jordan Leigh Casey — Jordan has been accepted by both Virginia Commonwealth University and William and Mary and plans to major in Neuroscience. In high school she participated in Cheerleading and Track and Field. Jordan received the VHSL Academic Excellence Award and is a Key Club Member and a member of the National Honor Society. Jordan currently has a 4.50 GPA.
Macayla Alyse Gillis — Macayla has been accepted at Old Dominion University and plans to major in Mechanical Engineering. In high school she participated in Field Hockey (4 years) and All Star Cheerleading (4 years). She was captain in both sports. She is a member of the National Honor Society and Student Council. Macayla currently has a 3.754 GPA.
Grassfield High School
Alexandra Nicole Fitz — Alexandra plans to attend Virginia Wesleyan College and major in Recreation and Leisure. In high school she participated in Soccer excelling in many ways; among her many awards are the following:

Conference Player of the year (2015)
VHSL Second Team All-States (2015)
VHSCA 6a All State First Team (2015)
Alexandra is a member of the National Honor Society, English National Honor Society, Social Studies Honor Society and the Key Club. Alexandra currently has a 4.18 GPA.
Cole Evan Martin — Cole plans to attend Virginia Tech and major in Electrical Engineering. He participated in Football and Wrestling serving as Captain of both teams. He was the Superintendent Scholar Athlete of the Year (2015). He is a member of the National Honor Society, History Honor Society and National Latin Honor Society. Cole currently has a 4.78 GPA and is ranked 7th out of 544.
Great Bridge High School
Carter Williamson Old — Carter plans to attend Lynch College and will complete a five year dual degree program with the University of Virginia obtaining a Masters Degree in Mechanial Engineering. Carter has played Competitive golf since the age of 10, playing Varsity Golf all four years of high school and playing in the number one position his Senior Year. He is a member of the National Honor Society and received the Jefferson Book Award for Scholarship, Leadership and Citizenship in 2015. Carter currently has a 4.413 GPA.
Bailey Jacob O’Shea — Bailey has been accepted at both Virginia Commonwealth University and George Mason University and plans to major in Bio Medical Engineering. In high school Bailey participated in Golf. His is a member of the National Honor Society and the Key Club and the International Language Club. His volunteer participation is documented by participation in Operation Smile and Relay for Life. Baily currently has a 3.843 GPA.
Greenbrier Christian Academy
Corey J. Vickers — Corey was awarded a partial athletic scholarship from Virginia State University where he will continue to play football and study business. In high school he played Quarterback on the Football Team. A Greenbrier Coach wrote of him; “As a Young Christian Man he is the example of what Iwant my son to be.” Last summer he participated in the Excel Leadership Program through Lead Hampton Roads. Corey currently has a 3.31GPA
Hickory High School
Caleb Harper Corbett — Caleb plans to attend Hampden Sydney College where his major is undetermined. A Championship Wrestler in high school,Caleb plans to wrestle for Hampden Sydney. In high school he was undefeated in conference competition and finished in third place in the State Tournament. He is a member of the National Honor Society and Symphony Orchestra, participating in orchestra all four years at Hickory. Caleb currently has a 3.679 GPA.
Indian River High School
Austin Marshall Bussey — Austin plans to attend the University of Virginia and Major in General Mathematics. In high school he participated in Tennis and Volleyball serving as Captain of the Tennis Team. Austin is active in Class Council (Chaplain} and a member of the National Honor Society. He demonstrates a commitment to his community through participation in several missions projects. Austin has a 4.34 GPA.
Jacob Allen Sprinkle — Jacob’s college preference is undecided being accepted by three institutions. He plans to major in Mechanical Engineering at his chosen school. In High School he participated in Varsity Volleyball (4 years) serving as Captain two years. Jacob participated in the Student Council Association, National Honor Society, Key Club among many organizations. Jacob currently has a 4.33 GPA.
Western Branch High School
Jordan Myles Hill — Jordan plans to attend James Madison University and major in Applied Mathematics. In high school he participated in Golf and Soccer. He is a member of the National Honor Society, Student Council Association and was Class Treasurer. Jordan currently has a 3.90 GPA.
