The Chesapeake Sports Club is dedicated to celebrating the power of sports to inspire, connect, and uplift our community. Through engaging educational programs, social gatherings, and athletic events across Chesapeake, Virginia, we bring together students, athletes, and supporters who share a passion for competition and sportsmanship. Our active and inclusive membership promotes athletics for all—regardless of background, gender, or chosen sport. We proudly recognize both past and present athletic achievements from Chesapeake’s high schools and honor outstanding high school, collegiate, and professional athletes with strong ties to our city as Legends of Honor. Most importantly, we are committed to supporting the next generation by providing scholarships to deserving student-athletes, helping them pursue their goals on and off the field.

Nathan is an internationally known editorial and luxury brand photographer published worldwide, as well as a caring philanthropist who has supported numerous community focused organizations. Nathan’s community leadership and sponsorships have assisted hundreds of local young athletes to be publicly recognized and receive scholarships. In 2023 the Chesapeake Sports Club named Beck it’s prestigious “Member of the Year” for his will deserved generous efforts.
His big, warm smile may seem familiar to you. You may have met him at a Chesapeake Sports Club luncheon or event. Strangers quickly notice his readiness to listen to a great story and to make new friends. His humility may have kept you from also recognizing him as a well-traveled editorial photographer, former coach, philanthropist, race car driver, and PGA sports enthusiast. With all his talent, it surprises new friends, how easily he can crack and land a golf ball, perfectly where he aims. His love of various sports and helping others has opened many doors. His coaching years fueled philanthropic action, and he now proudly serves on several boards that financially help sports-talented students.

Nathan has worked with some of the most popular and famous celebrities throughout his career. Nonetheless, he remains a dignified and humble role model who is focused on service to others.
