The Chesapeake Sports Club hosts monthly luncheons on second Monday of each month at the Chesapeake Conference Center, located at:

Doors open at 11:00 AM for check-in and the meeting starts at 11:30.
The monthly Chesapeake Sports Club Luncheons bring together sports enthusiasts, community leaders, and special guests for engaging mid-day gatherings centered on the love of sports and its impact on our region. Held throughout the year, each luncheon features a distinguished speaker—such as coaches, athletes, broadcasters, or sports executives—who shares insights, stories, and perspectives from the world of athletics. Most luncheons also feature our Legend of Honor, and Student-Athlete recognition awards.
Luncheons are open to Sports Club Members and Guests.
***All luncheon reservations MUST be made in advance. The deadline to register for each luncheon is Wednesday prior to the monthly luncheon date. Walk-ins the day of the luncheon are NOT guaranteed a spot.***
November LUNCHEON

Speaker: Cliff Hayes, Virginia House of Delegates 91st District, Oscar Smith and Norfolk State University Baseball star
Previously, Delegate Cliff Hayes served as a Chesapeake City Councilman. He's also a local government technology expert. He has studied at Norfolk State University, Carnegie Mellon University, Harvard University, Cambridge College, the Federal CIO Institute, and MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology). He is the Chairman of The Joint Commission on Technology and Science and was chosen as the 2021 Legislator of the Year by the Richmond Technology Council. Finally, the first thing his friends and family will tell you is that he’s never forgotten where he came from or who he’s been fighting for throughout his life.
