Former Major League Baseball Umpire, Al Clark worked 3,392 games over a 26 year career, that included 2 World Series Assignments (1983 and 1989), 2 All-Star Games (1984 and 1995), 5 American League Championship Series (1979, 1982, 1987, 1992, and 1999), and 3 American League Division Series (1981, 1996, and 2000). Clark also worked the 1978 one-game playoff between the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees.

Since his retirement Clark has also become an author with his book, Called out But Safe: A Baseball Umpire’s Journey
